At Micófilos NGO, we are thrilled to announce the incorporation of our Second Generation, a passionate and committed team dedicated to the dissemination, conservation, and exploration of the Fungi Kingdom. Each of its members brings valuable experience and vision to strengthen our mission.
🌱 Carolina Sobarzo – Biology student specializing in macrofungi ecology, collector, and scientific communicator of the Fungi Kingdom from Concepción.
🌎 Felipe Abarca – Teacher, specialist in Tourism and Environmental Education. Experienced in ecotourism, natural heritage interpretation, and sustainable tourism training.
🎨 Anakai Morales – Illustrator from Maipú, known for her work on Chilean birdlife and now exploring the illustration of the Fungi Kingdom, always eager to learn and grow.
🌿 Tamara González – Administrator in Sustainable Tourism, dedicated to environmental education through fungiturism, emphasizing the importance of mycelium in ecosystems.
🏔 Yara Vargas – Park ranger and guide at Torres del Paine National Park, holding a degree in Superior Tourism and focusing on the conservation and research of the Fungi Kingdom in the Magallanes Region.
🌲 Francisca Giusti – Tourism guide, committed to outdoor education. Passionate about microforests and the collaborative union of science, tourism, and education.
🍃 Gabriela Guzmán – Bachelor in Natural Resources Conservation, fungi enthusiast, and explorer of the Fungi Kingdom, with a special interest in its conservation and the human-fungus connection.
🍄 María Jesús Orellana – Executive Assistant, fungi lover, and deeply inspired by their magic. Her mission within the NGO is to share knowledge and contribute her experience.
