Free talk: Chilean fungi and their role in ecosystems

We share the link of the online talk "Fungi of Chile and their role in the ecosystem" organized by the Garden Club of Chile and thanks to the help of our friends from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

In this talk, our founder and president Viviana Salazar-Vidal teaches us about the importance of fungi in our daily life and the different roles that these organisms play in ecosystems. She will give us an overview of the diversity of fungi in Chile, pointing out the most striking species and those endemic and native species that are listed as Vulnerable (VU) or Endangered (EN) according to their conservation status, as well as the most common edible wild mushrooms found in the native forest.
